The opening night of the exhibition was attended by a large number of people who crammed into the exhibition venue. First of all Ms Pryszcz-Botor introduced Mr Bialik and his son Dominik (pic.04) who performed two Chopin compositions: Nokturn Es-dur op. 9 nr 2 and Polonez A-dur op. 40 nr 1 (pic. 05, 06). It was followed by a presentation read by Mr Bialik bringing the audience closer to the nature of his art (pic.08). Later Sonia introduced "mother and wife" of the two performers - Ms Aleksandra Bialik, as well as Ms Helena Golda-Blahut - painter and tutor of Mr Bialik when he attended The Fine Arts State Secondary School in Katowice (pic.09,11). It was the first exhibition of the painter's works in his hometown - Podlesie.

After the official opening, a concert titled "Music and Carnival" by the Todo Art Trio took place. The trio performed compositions by J. Strauss, E. Kalman, J. Bock, L. Bernstein, F. Loewe, H. Wars and J. Petersburski (pic. 16, 20).
